Affinity Modular manufactures high-quality modular homes for homebuyers throughout North Carolina. Each home is built in our climate-controlled manufacturing facility in Lakeland, Georgia, then delivered to the homesite where an Authorized Affinity Builder manages installation and onsite completion.
Built to North Carolina Building Codes
An Affinity modular home destined for North Carolina is designed and constructed to meet the applicable North Carolina building codes and requirements for the home’s permitted location. Unlike manufactured homes, modular homes are built to the same state and local building codes that apply to site-built homes.
Engineered for Local Conditions
Building requirements can vary depending on where you plan to build in North Carolina. A home near the coast may have different wind, structural, foundation, or flood-related requirements than a home being built in the Piedmont or mountains. Affinity works with the project’s Authorized Builder to ensure the modular portion of the home is designed for the applicable requirements of the homesite.
Manufactured in Georgia
Your home is constructed inside Affinity’s manufacturing facility in Lakeland, Georgia, where much of the building process takes place in a controlled environment. This approach helps protect materials from prolonged exposure to weather while allowing our team to maintain consistent construction processes and quality control throughout production.
Once the modular sections of the home are completed, they are prepared for transportation to your North Carolina property.
Delivered Throughout North Carolina
Affinity Modular serves homebuyers throughout many areas of North Carolina. Completed home modules are transported from our Georgia facility to the prepared homesite, where they are set on the foundation and secured.
Your Authorized Affinity Builder coordinates the site-specific portions of the project, which may include permitting, site preparation, foundation work, utility connections, module installation, exterior and interior completion, driveways, garages, porches, decks, landscaping, and other onsite improvements included in your project.
A Network of Authorized Affinity Builders
Affinity is the home manufacturer, while your Authorized Affinity Builder is the licensed general contractor responsible for managing your overall homebuilding project.
Before becoming an Authorized Affinity Builder, builders participate in Affinity training to become familiar with our modular construction system and processes. They coordinate directly with Affinity throughout the project, from plans and ordering through manufacturing, delivery, installation, and onsite completion.
For the homebuyer, your Authorized Affinity Builder is your primary point of contact for important project details such as property evaluation, site costs, permits, construction scheduling, options, and total project pricing.
